I haven't got time to watch this at the moment, but I like the phrase "not even pagan." C. S. Lewis spoke about Narnia having to make children pagan before they could become Christian.
I love your presenting style, but I kept stopping to wonder: why? Why would we want to return to Christianity? We struggled to escape it for centuries. Furthermore, it's strange to hear you advocating for marriage and parenthood when you have indulged in neither afaik (AFAI remember you're polyamorous, and proud to experiment with the forms of sexuality?) It comes across kind of like grifting, just telling this audience what they want to hear
I am married, and Christian. It is now obvious to me that a political system predicated on individual desire will and is collapsing. I want people who wish to start a family to be supported, economically and otherwise.
Fair enough. You may not wish to engage it here, but why would Christianity be the answer to that (it seems to me actually the ultimate facilitator of individualistic culture, for obvious reasons)
Mimetic rivalry, the Narcissism of small differences between identical rivals. Yes! This characterizes our age and its social collapse.

Me too. That phrase.
A lot in a little - like a small copse with many discoverable shrubberies, and paths outwards, to explore.
"A race to the bottom in every sense" - ba-dum! (Da-bum?).
My report on the "Family Formation and the Future" conference is now up on Courage: https://courage.media/2025/04/06/family-formation-and-the-future-report/

Have you read what Christ says?
I've read the NT, but we were talking about Christianity, not Christian scripture.
Anything that isn’t firmly rooted in the words and spirit of Christ isn’t Christianity.
And no true Scotsmen puts sugar on his porridge. This discussion has got worse with every comment. I dont think we will gain anything by continuing it
